# Search

Newtracs offers both online and offline search of 4wd tracks, saved items, campsites, POIs and places / addresses.

#### Enter keywords

Search across your Saved Items (pins, trips), 4wd Trails, Campsites, places & POIs.  Search by:

* Trail name or trail ID
* City or suburb
* State
* Trail ID
* Trip name or description
* Pin name or description

### Tap the search result

Results will appear as you type, and will  be grouped by type (TRAILS, POIS, TRIPS, PINS). Select the item to pan the map to items location.

### Searching Offline vs Online

You don’t need to switch between offline and online modes,  results will automatically appear as soon as they become available.
